Itinerary

🇨🇴Day 01: Bogotá

  • Arrival transfer to the hotel included.
  • The tour leader will be available when the activities start, so you will have free time until your tour begins. Please check for information about the tour at the hotel reception. Note that the order of the itinerary might change due to different circumstances, such as weather conditions or the need to improve the tour circuit.

🇨🇴Day 02: Bogotá

  • Breakfast.
  • Meet a representative in the hotel lobby.
  • Transfer to the historic center of Bogotá.
  • Begin a walking tour at Plaza de Bolívar.
  • Visit surrounding streets and landmarks:
    • National Capitol
    • Casa de los Comuneros
    • Santa Clara Church Museum (Museo Santa Clara)
    • Casa de Nariño (Presidential Residence)
  • Enter the Gold Museum to view pre-Hispanic gold artifacts.
  • Visit Cerro de Monserrate and the sanctuary of the Fallen Lord of Monserrate (Monserrate Sanctuary).
  • Descent and transfer back to the hotel.
  • Free time for the rest of the day.
  • Accommodation at the hotel.

🇨🇴Day 03: Bogotá

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Begin the tour through the Bogotá savanna.
  • Travel to the town of Zipaquirá.
    • Learn about the historical use of salt springs by the Muiscas.
  • Visit the Zipaquirá Salt Cathedral, located 180 meters underground.
    • See the miners’ chapel dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary of Guasá.
  • Return to Bogotá.
  • Accommodation at the hotel.

🇨🇴Day 04: Bogotá

  • Transfer to the airport included.
  • Tour ends. Optional: Reserve extra hotel nights to continue enjoying your trip.
