  • 12:15 p.m. – Arrival in Florence: We will go directly to the Michelangelo Viewpoint (Piazzale Michelangelo), where you’ll enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the city.
  • Walk to the Historic Center (Centro Storico, District 1): We will continue on foot toward the historic center. After some free time for lunch, a guided tour with a local guide is included.
  • Guided Tour of Florence: Discover this iconic city, capital of Tuscany, widely regarded as the cradle of the Renaissance and birthplace of influential artists and thinkers such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Botticelli, and Raphael.
  • Main Highlights: During the tour, you will see the Gothic Cathedral (the Duomo), the historic stone bridge known as Ponte Vecchio with its traditional goldsmith shops, and Piazza della Signoria, the political heart of the city, home to the medieval town hall.
  • Tour Duration: Approximately two hours.
  • Free Time: After the guided visit, you will have free time. We recommend walking through the artistic city center, crossing the Ponte Vecchio and exploring its shops, or relaxing in one of Florence’s elegant squares.

Day 2: Florence, Livorno, Bastia

  • 08:30 a.m. Departure from Florence.
  • 10:00 a.m. Arrival in Livorno: Arrival in this Tuscan port city, renowned for its maritime history. You will have free time to walk along its canals, visit the historic fortress (Fortezza Vecchia), or enjoy a coffee at the Mascagni Terrace, an elegant seafront promenade.
  • 12:00 p.m. Boarding at the Port of Livorno: Embark on a modern ferry bound for the island of Corsica. Departure is usually scheduled for 1:00 p.m. During the crossing, which lasts over four hours, you can relax and enjoy cruise-style onboard facilities, including shops, a restaurant, bars, and spacious lounges.
  • 05:30 p.m. Arrival in Bastia: Arrival in the island’s second-largest city. Founded in the 14th century by the Genoese, Bastia is known for its old port (U Vechju Portu), lined with terraces and restaurants, and the elevated Terra Nova district (Citadelle de Bastia), featuring impressive city walls and a historic citadel.
  • Important Note: Occasionally, due to changes or cancellations in ferry schedules, the program may be adjusted. This could require an earlier departure from Florence to allow boarding in Livorno as early as 8:00 a.m.

Day 3: Bastia, Corte, Ajaccio

  • 08:30 a.m. Bastia: After breakfast, we will depart toward the interior of the island. Corsica is famous for its striking mountain landscapes and traditional villages, which we will explore as we travel through the heart of the island.
  • 10:00 a.m. Corte: Arrival in this town of great historical, cultural, and geographical importance, located in Corsica’s mountainous center. • 02:15 p.m. Palau: First stop in this coastal town, located opposite the La Maddalena Archipelago, a protected group of islands. After some time in Palau, we will board a short 20-minute ferry crossing to La Maddalena, the main town of the archipelago, known for its cobblestone streets, inviting squares, Mediterranean-style buildings, and constant connection to the sea. From the Monte Ulpino viewpoint, we will enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the city. Free time is provided for lunch, and you decide.
  • 02:30 p.m. Departure from Cagliari.
  • 04:30 p.m. Nuraghe Losa (entrance included): Stop to discover this remarkable example of Sardinian culture from the Bronze Age, dating between the 15th and 9th centuries BC. • 05:30 p.m. Departure from Nuraghe Losa.
  • 07:30 p.m. Olbia: Arrival in this lively city, from which most ferries connect Sardinia with mainland Italy. We suggest a walk through the city center and a visit to the Basilica of San Simplicio, an 11th-century Romanesque church.
