Free time in the Ramblas area and the Gothic Quarter
Afternoon departure to Madrid via Aragon and Castile regions

🇪🇸 Day 3: Madrid
Morning panoramic tour of Madrid (approximately 2.5 hours)
Sights: Cibeles, Puerta de Alcalá, Retiro Park, Calle Serrano, Castellana Avenue, Plaza Colón, Paseo del Prado, exterior of Prado Museum, Atocha, Royal Palace
Free afternoon
An optional excursion to historic Toledo is available
🇪🇸 🇵🇹 Day 4: Madrid, Ciudad Rodrigo, Porto
Morning departure from Madrid through Castile toward northern Portugal
Brief photo stop at “4 postes” viewpoint to see Avila’s walls
Visit to Ciudad Rodrigo (walled city) – time to explore streets and cathedral
Cross into Portugal
Lunch stop at service area
Arrive in Porto – 50-minute “rabelo” boat trip on Douro River, sailing under 6 bridges, including the iconic Don Luis iron bridge.
Free time recommended for exploring the Ribeira medieval district with narrow streets and old merchant houses
Note: If a few passengers travel between Madrid and Porto, this segment may be done by plane, skipping Ciudad Rodrigo
🇵🇹 Day 5: Porto, Coimbra, Batalha, Nazaré, Óbidos, Lisbon
Morning departure from Porto
Visit Coimbra – Portugal’s third largest city with an ancient university and charming steep streets.
Stop at Batalha Monastery – impressive medieval building and royal tomb (option to visit interior or view exterior and shop in surrounding streets)
Visit to Nazaré – fishing town atop cliffs with included “elevator” ride to old town offering views of sea and beach; time for lunch and rest
Explore Óbidos – a charming walled medieval town with a castle and flower-filled streets with shops.
Evening arrival in Lisbon
🇵🇹 Day 6: Lisbon
Morning panoramic tour of Lisbon with local guide (approximately 2 hours)
Sights: Eduardo VII Park, Pombaline Downtown (Marquês de Pombal Square, Rossio Square with views of São Jorge Castle), Alfama, Estrela district, Estrela Basilica, Monument to the Discoveries, Belém Tower, Jerónimos Monastery
Tour ends in the city center
Free afternoon
Recommendation: Take Elevador Da Gloria to Bairro Alto and visit São Pedro viewpoint for views over Lisbon
Optional excursion to Sintra (with castle) and coastal towns of Cascais and Estoril
Evening return from Restauradores Square (area with many restaurants and cafes) to the hotel

Breakfast and end of services
