Itinerary
🇵🇪 Day 01: Cusco
Your Cusco adventure begins with an airport pickup and hotel transfer. As the day unfolds, take a guided afternoon tour to immerse yourself in the rich history of this former Inca capital.
Your journey through time starts at Coricancha (Qorikancha), the revered ‘Temple of the Sun.’ Once an impressive tribute to the Inca sun god, it now forms the foundation of the colonial Santo Domingo Convent (Church and Convent of Santo Domingo of Guzmán), a striking symbol of cultural transformation.
Next, marvel at the Cusco Cathedral, the crown jewel of Plaza de Armas (Plaza Mayor de Cusco), before ascending to the hilltop wonder of Sacsayhuamán (Saqsaywaman). This 15th-century Inca stronghold, with its massive, precisely fitted stones, continues to baffle modern engineers.
Your exploration continues at Qenqo (Q’enco Archaeological Complex), a sacred site where ancient agricultural rituals once breathed life into the empire. The tour culminates at Puca Pucará (Puka Pukara Archaeological Complex), or ‘Red Fort,’ an intriguing complex seven kilometers from Cusco. This multifaceted site, complete with plazas, baths, aqueducts, and towers, is believed to have served as a rest stop for the Inca ruler’s court.
As the day’s discoveries settle in your mind, you’ll return to the comfort of your hotel, ready to dream of the wonders you’ve witnessed and those yet to come.
🇵🇪 Day 02: Cusco, Machu Picchu, Cusco
Your Machu Picchu experience begins with an early morning hotel pickup in Cusco, which will transfer you to Ollantaytambo’s train station (Estación Ferroviaria de Ollantaytambo). Here, you’ll board a train for a hypnotic 90-minute journey through the heart of the Andes, each turn revealing breathtaking vistas.
Upon reaching Aguas Calientes, your dedicated guide will escort you to the bus departure point. A short but spectacular 25-minute ascent brings you face-to-face with the awe-inspiring Machu Picchu (Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu), the legendary “Lost City of the Incas.” This 15th-century marvel believed to be Inca Pachacutec’s hilltop retreat, survived the Spanish conquest that claimed so many other Inca settlements.
Your expert guide will make known the fortification’s secrets, leading you through its most iconic features and sharing tales of its remarkable past. As your exploration concludes, descend to Aguas Calientes for a comfortable lunch at your preferred restaurant. Afterward, take time to wander this fascinating mountain town before boarding your return train.
The journey back to Ollantaytambo offers one last chance to immerse in the Andean scenery. Upon arrival, our transport will return you to your Cusco hotel.
Remember, lunch timing may shift based on the Machu Picchu entry times. Given Machu Picchu’s limited daily capacity, we strongly advise confirming your reservation promptly to secure your tickets. Your gateway to this wonder of the world awaits
🇵🇪 Day 03: Cusco

A comfortable transfer will take you from the hotel to the airport, where you’ll catch your outbound flight (please note the flight itself is not part of our package).
