Kenya is located in East Africa featuring many scenic landscapes, wildlife parks, and reserves.
Nairobi is the capital of Kenya, also known as the Green City in the Sun.
Amboseli National Park is a famous park with a lot of scenic views, including Mount Kilimanjaro, which is Africa’s highest peak. One of the main attractions in the park is the elephants, but you can also find lions, giraffes, many species of birds, and much more. The main tourist activity in the park is the observation of wildlife, but you can also go on guided nature walks and participate in cultural events of the Maasai communities, which are a huge part of the population in Kenya.
Lake Nakuru National Park is a famous wildlife sanctuary where you can enjoy Lake Nakuru’s abundance of flamingos and birdlife. Millions of flamingos visit the lake due to the availability of massive amounts of algae that the flamingos can feed on. Rhinoceros, antelope, and buffalos are among the many animals the park counts with.
Masai Mara National Reserve hosts the Great Wildebeest Migration, which consists of migrating more than two million animals, including Wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles. They migrate from Serengeti in Tanzania to Masai Mara, and it happens throughout the year. The Ballon Safaris are a popular attraction in the reserve because they provide the opportunity to enjoy the spectacular views of the landscapes and wildlife.
