🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Day 01: London, Cambridge, York, Durham

Cambridge University, Cambridge, UK
  • Travel from London to Cambridge. Time to explore.
  • Travel to York. Along the way, you will see the Sherwood Forest. Time to explore.
  • Travel to Durham. Accommodation.

Note: The order of the itinerary might change due to different circumstances, such as weather conditions or the need to improve the tour circuit.

Day 02: 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿Durham, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿Alnwick, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Edinburgh

Alnwick Castle, Alnwick, UK
  • Departure from Durham to Alnwich. Along the way you will see the city of Newcastle upon Tyne.
    • Optional: Visit the Alnwick Castle (ticket not included).
    • Note: The castle is closed during winter (October 1 – March 31).
  • Travel to Edinburgh in Scotland. If you travel during the summer, enjoy the “Edinburgh Festival.” Free time.
    • Panoramic tour of the city with a local guide.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Day 03: Edinburgh, Pitlochry, Inverness, Loch Ness, Glasgow

Stirling Castle, Stirling, Scotland, UK
  • Travel from Edinburgh to Pitlochry. Along the way, you will cross the Forth Bridge. Free time to explore.
  • Continue traveling to the city of Inverness. Along the way, you will pass around the Cairngorms National Park.
    • Visit Loch Ness to take a cruise where the Nessy monster was living.
    • Visit Urquhart Castle. Ticket included.
  • Travel to Glasgow. Accommodation. Along the way, you will see high mountains covered in snow, Fort Augustus, Fort William, Ben Nevis, Glencoe Village, and the Lake Loch Lomond.

 

From November to the end of February, due to the weather conditions, your itinerary for day three will be as follows:

  • Travel from Edinburgh to Pitlochry.
    • Visit a whisky distillery. Ticket included.
  • Travel to Stirling.
    • Visit Stirling Castle. Ticket included.
  • Travel to visit The Kelpies, a pair of monumental steel hose-heads located between the towns of Falkirk and Grangemouth.
  • Travel to Glasgow. Accommodation.

Day 04: 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Glasgow, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿London

Glasgow, Scotland, UK
  • Travel from Glasgow to London. Your trip might be by train or plane. Your tour guide will give you the ticket.
