Ancient palaces, unique tilework, the Sahara Desert, the Atlas Mountains, Moroccan souks and medinas, traditional crafts, and the Berber culture are some of the many attractions you will find in Morocco. 

Marrakech, the Red City, is a historic city for many reasons. One of them is that the Marrackech’s medina is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are many historic buildings, stunning gardens, and traditional accommodations that originated from historic houses transformed into guesthouses. The Jewish heritage is also present in the city, with their synagogues and cultural legacy being preserved until now.

Atlas Mountains can be found in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, and North Africa. It has three principal parts: the Middle Atlas in the north, the Anti-Atlas in the south, and the High Atlas in the center. Some of the Atlas Mountains peaks can exceed 4,000 meters (13,000 feet) in height. There are Berber communities alongside the mountains that preserve their cultural heritage. It is a good destination for hiking and trekking enthusiasts. 

Fez, Fes, is one of the most historic cities in Morocco, and it is one of the country’s oldest imperial cities. It is also known as the Athens of Africa. The Medina of Fez is the world’s largest and best-preserved medieval urban area, recognized by UNESCO. The Qarawiyyin University is the world’s oldest still active university in the world. You will find culinary delights in Fez, such as couscous and pastries. The Andalusian refugees who went to the city during the Spanish Reconquista and greatly influenced it.

Itinerary

Day 01 - Marrakech

  • Marrakech City. Transfer to the hotel included. 
  • Free time until the tour guide contacts you. 
  • Ride in horse carriages to visit the Jemaa el-Fnaa.

Day 02 - Marrakech

  • Jemaa el-Fnaa
  • Medina
  • Minaret de la Koutoubia
  • Bahia Palace - ticket included.
    • Lunch included.
  • Free afternoon

Optional: You can go to a fantasy dinner show at night to enjoy the food and entertainment as well as learn about Moroccan folklore.

Day 03 - Marrakech/Atlas Mountains/Aït Ben Haddou/Ouarzazate/Boumalne Dades
