Why would people travel to India?
India is one of the most spectacular places to visit in the world.
In Delhi, you can visit the Jama Masjid, Rajghat, Qutub Minar, Red Fort, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhava, Parliament of India, and the Secretariat Building. Jama Masjid in Old Delhi is a popular tourist attraction for being one of India’s most prominent and largest mosques. The mosque is made of white marble and red sandstone; its construction started in 1644 and finished in 1656.
In Agra, there is the Taj Mahal (one of the Seven Wonders of the World) and the Agra Fort, a fortress made of semi-circular red sandstone that was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638.
What is so special about the Taj Mahal? It’s a mausoleum of white marble in memory of the favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal, of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, completed in 1648 AD, including a mosque, guest house, the main gateway, and the outer courtyard.
Why is Agra Fort famous? Agra Fort, also known as Agra’s Red Ford, is a historical fort that served as a principal residence for many emperors of the Mughal Dynasty from around 1565 until 1638.
Along the way, you will admire the small city of Fatehpur Sikri.
