Itinerary

🇪🇸 Day 1: Madrid, Granada

  • Madrid

    • Departure at 07:45 hrs (time may vary slightly depending on hotel pick-up schedules).
    • Stop at Puerto Lápice, a beautiful village in La Mancha with memories of “Don Quixote of La Mancha.”
  • Granada

    • Arrival at the hotel at 13:30 hrs. Lunch included.
    • Visit the Alhambra Palace and its beautiful Generalife Gardens, built during the Arab period. This visit will include a local guide.
    • Free time after the visit.
    • Recommended: A stroll through the Albaicín neighborhood.
  • Alhambra Visit Restrictions:

    • The number of visitors allowed to enter the Alhambra is legally limited.
    • To guarantee entry, personal information (full name and passport/ID number) is required at the time of booking the circuit.
    • In case of cancellation, the cost of the Alhambra ticket will be charged to the client, as it cannot be refunded.
    • In rare cases where the reservation is canceled, the visit will be replaced with a visit to Seville’s Real Alcázar, a similar site.
  • Document Requirement for Alhambra Entry:

    • You must present the document (passport or DNI) used to confirm your reservation to access the Alhambra.

🇪🇸 🇲🇦 Day 2: Granada, Asilah, Rabat

  • Granada

    • Departure at 07:30 hrs.
    • Enjoy beautiful views of the Mediterranean during the journey.
  • Algeciras/Tarifa

    • Arrival at 11:45 hrs.
    • Board a ferry to cross the Strait of Gibraltar to Africa using modern vessels.
    • The ferry journey lasts approximately 1.5 hours (it is suggested to have lunch on board).
    • Arrive at the port of Tangier, followed by customs and border procedures (which may occasionally take some time).
  • Asilah

    • Visit a picturesque, walled city facing the ocean.
    • Free time to have lunch and take a stroll through the beautiful medina (walled old town).
  • Rabat

    • Departure from Asilah at 16:30 hrs, traveling along the highway.
    • Arrival in Rabat at 19:30 hrs.
    • Dinner and overnight stay in Rabat.
  • Passport Requirement:

    • Do not forget your passport, as it will be required at the border.
  • Time Difference:

    • When it is 12:00 hrs in Spain, it is either 10:00 or 11:00 hrs in Morocco, depending on the time of year.
    • Your guide will inform you when to adjust your clock and explain the time difference.
  • Luggage:

    • During the ferry crossing between Spain and Morocco, you must carry your luggage with you.

🇲🇦 Day 3: Rabat, Casablanca, Marrakech

  • Rabat

    • At 08:00 hrs, begin a panoramic tour of the capital of Morocco, considered one of the most beautiful cities in the country.
    • Highlights of the visit:

      • Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of King Mohamed V

Ait Ben Hadu

  • Arrival at 13:30 hrs.

Ouarzazate

  • Departure from Ait Ben Hadu at 15:00 hrs, arriving in Ouarzazate at 15:30 hrs.

Boumalne Dades

  • Departure from Ouarzazate at 16:30 hrs.
  • Drive through desert plains and the valley oasis, arriving in Boumalne Dades at 18:00 hrs.

  • Alternative Route Due to Weather Conditions:
    • In rare cases, the road through the Atlas Mountains may be closed due to weather conditions (e.g., snow or heavy rains).
    • If this occurs, the following alternative route will be organized:
      • Friday: Marrakech – Essaouira
      • Saturday: Essaouira – Safi – El Jadida – Meknes
      • Sunday: Meknes – Fez

🇲🇦 Day 6: Boumalne Dades, Todra, Khorbat, Erfoud

Boumalne Dades

  • Departure at 07:15 hrs.
  • Travel through the Valley of the Kasbahs, a valley located between the High Atlas and the Saharan Atlas.
  • Along the route, discover:
    • Numerous Kasbahs (adobe fortresses) historically protected crops and villages from attacks by nomadic tribes.
    • Stunning oases, palm groves, and charming adobe villages.

Todra Gorges

  • Arrival at 09:00 hrs.
  • Visit a deep canyon over 100 meters high, cutting through the Atlas Mountains.
  • Free time to enjoy the breathtaking landscape.
  • Note: If it rains heavily, river flooding may prevent access to the gorges.

Ksar el Khorbat

  • Departure from Todra Gorges at 09:45 hrs, arriving at Ksar el Khorbat at 10:45 hrs.

  • Learn about the traditional lifestyle of desert communities in these fortified villages.

Erfoud

  • Departure from Ksar el Khorbat at 11:45 hrs, arriving in Erfoud at 14:00 hrs.

Optional Activity:

  • Take a 4×4 excursion to the dunes of Merzouga.

Midelt

  • Arrival at 11:30 hrs.

Atlas Mountains (Lunch Stop)

Azrou

  • Arrival at 15:15 hrs.

  • Each traveler must carry their own luggage and hand baggage, following the requirements of the Spanish security forces.
  • Board the ferry for a crossing of approximately one hour.
  • It is recommended to have lunch on the ferry.

Arrival in Algeciras/Tarifa

  • Upon arrival, continue the journey through the scenic region of white villages in southern Spain.

Seville

  • Arrival in Seville at 20:30 hrs.
