🇵🇹 Day 1: Lisbon, Fátima, Porto

  • 8:00 AM – Departure from Lisbon

  • 9:45 AM – Arrival in Fatima

    • Free time to visit the Sanctuary
    • Pilgrimage site commemorating the apparitions of Our Lady to the three Shepherd Children
    • The chapel was built in 1919 at Cova de Iria, where the 1917 apparitions occurred
    • The Sanctuary complex has expanded over time to accommodate the growing number of pilgrims

  • 11:30 AM – Departure from Fatima

  • 2:00 PM – Arrival in Porto

    • Time for lunch
    • Afternoon river cruise on a traditional Portuguese “Rabelo” boat
    • 50-minute journey along the Douro River
    • Opportunity to admire the beautiful riverbank and city from the water
    • Pass under six bridges, including the iconic Dom Luis I iron bridge
    • Free time to explore
    • Recommended: Stroll through the lively medieval Ribeira district with its narrow cobblestone streets lined with historic merchant houses and cafés
